Heart of England Forest Photography
How on earth do you start choosing photographs from a client you have been photographing for for 14 years!?
It is International Day of Forests today (March 21st), so I just have to do a post marking it really!I have been photographing for the The Heart of England Forest before it was even ‘HOEF’. The late, great Felix Dennis booked me way back in 2009 to start photographing his latest project – The Forest of Dennis and little did I know that it would snowball into this extraordinary charity.
I have photographed more forests and paths and trees than I can even remember, from the youngest trees to the oldest, I photographed the MILLIONTH tree being planted by Felix and then the TWO MILLIONTH tree being planted as well.I have met the most amazing people throughout the years, all the volunteers, the employees, the school children and even just walkers in the fields and forests.It is the most amazing thing to be a part of, what an honour.
